Japan’s foremost musical export, Kodo, will join forces with Australia’s premiere taiko ensemble, TaikOz, to present an aurally and visually spectacular performance that explores the full spectrum of contemporary and traditional Japanese sounds and movement. Music lovers can expect an evening of dynamic drumming, spectacular dance and sensuous song. The program will include Australian works Resounding Bell (by TaikOz, featuring Yoko Fujimoto, voice and Motofumi Yamaguchi, bamboo flute) and Circle Dance (by TaikOz, featuring Kodo and TaikOz).
