Munkle (Martin Kay - clarinets, Julian Curwin - guitar, banjo, Sam Golding - tuba, trumpet, Danny Heifetz - drums) bring their blend of chamber jazz, punk tango and dinky swing back to the Jazzgroove stage. Featuring players from Darth Vegas, Invisible City, The Tango Saloon, Mike Nock and others.
As the musicians of Sidecar attain the blessed stability of maturity, having survived the turmoils of adolescence and the middle class peculiarity of post-adolescence, their individual musicianship has become ever more muscular, assured and deep. The familiar frame of the now nostalgic Sidecar set provides a thrilling measurement of its members' progress.
