Duo Chamber Melange takes great pleasure in presenting a contrasting program featuring the elegance of Mozart’s Sonata in G for violin and piano and the drama and tumultuous passion that is Richard Strauss’ Sonata for violin and piano Op.18.
The ensemble has a passion for the promotion of contemporary Australian composers, and to that end will feature the world premiere performance of Jonathan Dreyfus’ ‘Behind the Giants’, written for and dedicated to Ivana Tomaskova and Tamara Smolyar.
