Event Details
Alex Wilson (piano) performs music of the early 20th century, including rarely heard music by Australian wartime hero Frederick Septimus Kelly alongside works by Elgar, Gurney and Parry. Come along to experience works that haven’t been heard in over 100 years in a concert of sublime lyricism and harmonic beauty.
This concert marks the launch of a crowdfunding campaign in advance of a Toccata Classics CD release of previously unrecorded piano works by F S Kelly later in the year.
Featured non-Australian music: Elgar - Enigma Variations. Parry - Shulbrede Tunes. Gurney - Nocturne.
