Event Details
The Metropolitan Orchestra (TMO) will end their ninth season with a series of new beginnings including a world premiere from Australian pop music icon Heather Shannon from the Australian indie rock band The Jezebels. This outstanding new work will join Rodrigo’s magnificent guitar concerto featuring Australian soloist Giuseppe Zangari in his first performance with TMO and Chief Conductor Sarah-Grace Williams. Beethoven’s exhilarating Third Symphony Eroica, which many consider was the start of a new era in music, will present the perfectly thrilling and triumphant close to TMO’s phenomenal year of performance.
Featured non-Australian music: Rodrigo, Beethoven
