Event Details
Seated and blind-folded, this is an opportunity to listen and imagine. A journey through Newcastle’s noises, altered and arranged, with unusual sounds by different flutes, voices, and electronic resonances. An intimate response to sound in space. “Listen to everything all the time and remind yourself when you are not listening”, Pauline Olivieros (1932-2016). Featuring new works by James Maher, Sarah Monk and Vickie Tran. "The Sound of Spaces" is a part of Newcastle's "Crack Theatre Festival".
