Expect percussion, prepared piano and toys, deep grooves, dreamy soundscapes, surprising and subversive interjections. Clocked Out – not quite in time, but not exactly out.
In Melbourne, 2000, Clocked Out presented their first concert with a unique mix of improvisation, jazz, new music and performance that has become their signature. 15 years, 8 albums, and 20 international tours later, Erik Griswold and Vanessa Tomlinson lead one of Australia’s most diverse and intriguing groups, here in Brisbane.
Over two jam-packed nights, Clocked Out takes you on a tour of their strange and wonderful musical world. Their trademark percussion and prepared piano sound is augmented by strings, flutes, trombones, voices, and more, with a host of special guests!
