Award-winning French chanteuse Tricia Evy returns to Foundry 616. Her latest album Meet Me received critical acclaim in France, the West Indies and Korea and includes a stunning selection of jazz standards by Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Louis Armstrong - all given the stunning Tricia Evy 'Caribbean touch' that showcase her skills as both a composer and a beautiful lyricist. Tricia has worked extensively across Europe, including major festivals and venues such as Paris’s famous Duc des Lombards, and appearances at some of the EU’s biggest Jazz festivals including Jazz A Vienne, Montreux Jazz Festival, amongst many more.
For the first time in Australia Tricia is playing with her favourite piano player David Fackeure, with whom she has been collaborating for five years, as well as the Australian trombonist Dan Barnett. With a heady mix of jazz standards and originals, expect a sultry night of beautiful music on the Foundry 616 stage.
