Event Details
Dave Jackson (alto saxophone), Abel Cross (acoustic bass) and Alex Masso (drums) have been playing music together consistently since 2003, and Trio Apoplectic is their take on the saxophone trio format. Their broad repertoire comprises jazz standards, original compositions, and free improvisation. During the past 3 years they have released two albums, spent many hours playing together and many more hours travelling around the country on their six regional tours. Trio Apoplectic are currently touring Australia for Sound Travellers, and launching their most recent album Sofia (Rufus Records).
