Kurilpa String Quartet, featuring faculty Graeme Jennings alongside Brendan Joyce (violins) and Katherine Philp (cello) from Camerata of St John’s and Yoko Okayasu (viola) from the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, perform masterworks from the historical repertoire as well as a commissioned work. The concert takes its name from new composition Unravelling Graphite by Jakob Bragg which was commissioned by Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University as part of the Silver Harris and Jeff Peck Composition prize.
