Wilcox, Encarnacao, Swanton Trio (W.E.S.T) is an exciting collaboration between three unique composer-performers, who are all individually renowned for their work in jazz, improvisation, indie pop, art music and movie soundtracks. Tabua-Harrison is an experimental duo of electric guitar and drum kit. Entirely improvised, the duo revels in the spontaneous, pairing the visceral energy of rock, funk, and metal, with the intricacy of contemporary art music. Previous collaborators include guzheng player, Chiu Tan Ching, of Hong Kong New Music Ensemble, and taegum virtuoso, Hyelim Kim.
