Event Details

Austin Salisbury is an emerging pianist on the Perth scene, presenting a mix of unique original compositions as well as imaginative interpretations of jazz standards in the piano trio setting. Rooted in the jazz tradition, his music pays homage to jazz giants Wynton Kelly, Bill Evans and Brad Mehldau.

This recital is the culmination of four years of jazz study at Western Australian Academy for Performing Arts (WAAPA) and is centred around the music of cool school pianist Lennie Tristano.
