Wanderlust is one of Australia’s most exciting jazz-world ensembles, bringing together the talents of six of the country’s best jazz instrumentalists whose individual work has gained them many accolades. Together more than 15 years now, their music was acclaimed from the outset with an ARIA for their debut CD release in 1994.
Innovative, energetic and addictively upbeat, combining jazz with diverse rhythms and melodies of global music, they have captured audiences and critics alike with their joyous music and infectious rhythms.
Their most recent CD, Wanderlust Live in Rome, captures the excitement and many moods of the band in concert (recorded at their live performance at the famous jazz festival at Villa Celimontana, staged near the Colosseum in Rome).
Led by Miroslav Bukovsky, Australia’s leading trumpeter/composer, Wanderlust has attracted national and international acclaim. Catch this exuberant group in full flight tonight!
