Event Details
John Scott is Organist and Director of Music at Saint Thomas Church in New York City where he also directs the renowned Saint Thomas Choir of Men and Boys. Originally from the UK, he was an organ scholar at St. John’s College, Cambridge. Later, he served as organist at St. Paul’s and Southwark cathedrals in London.
He will perform Works by Mendelssohn (Overture to St Paul), Handel (Concerto in F Op.4 No.5), J.S.Bach (Prelude and Fugue in A minor BWV 543), S.S.Wesley (Larghetto in F# minor), Bossi (Scherzo), Messiaen (Prélude), Grainger (Handel in the Strand), Wammes (Miroir), and Vierne (Carillon de Westminster).
