Event Details

Join Muses Trio for an intoxicating experience of music and wine.

Now in their 9th year of celebrating music by women, the Muses have curated a luscious, full-bodied program for Anywhere Fest 2021. Women & Wine will feature bold world premieres by noted living Australian women composers including Elena Kats-Chernin, with a sweet sprinkling of favourites unearthed from the cellar, and inspiring excerpts by women authors.

Five years since their Anywhere Festival debut at Boggo Road Gaol, the Muses continue to present gorgeous music in stunning surroundings. If you are curious about trying a sparkling new vintage and love seeing exciting chamber musicians up close in intimate venues, this show is for you.

“An edgy, compelling, powerful, memorable and often-moving performance”, “spine-chilling” Catherine Lawrence, Anywhere Festival 2016. Muses Trio debut album launch, The Spirit and the Maiden, at Boggo Road Gaol.

“…when they perform together, something magical happens…held audience members in the palm of their hands the minute they stepped on stage” – Hushbiz.com “
