Product details
The Man who Loved Children is generally regarded to be one of the outstanding works of Australian fiction of the twentieth century. A Man & His Children is a musical adaptation of the fraught family landscape so devastatingly portrayed by the novelist, Christina Stead. At times funny, poignant, cruel and sad, the story follows the struggle for independence of sixteen year old Louisa Pollit, as she grapples with the obsessional control of her father and the violent mood swings of her stepmother.
