Product details
After the syncopated, contrary-moving introduction, the first and third sections of Apropos Flying settle into a kind of groove-based moto perpetuo. It builds upon & varies this as it soares gracefully and floats around before working its way back down via a Chorale-like passage to re-explore the opening material. It could also be described as riff-based. It is based on material used in the composer's earlier chamber piece Flying.
