Product details
The piece is an evocation of a romantic dance. The composer's paternal grandparents met at a dance on the Atherton Tablelands region of Australia, inland from Cairns - a particuarly beautiful plateau in tropical north Queensland.
Like all Stephen Lalor's works for plucked strings, this piece seeks to be particularly idiomatic, drawing on the composer's own performance background.
