Product details
Australian Dawn is a musical picture of the magic of
dawn in Australia when the magpies send their call and myriads of
birds greet the new day.
It has been composed for Cedar-Rose Newman and Lina Lee who, at
the time of writing, are two young violinists at the magical
beginning of their lives in music.
Vanessa Woodhill, my long-time friend and colleague, and
grandmother of Cedar-Rose, asked me to write this piece - a great
honour and delight for me.
Bush Dance is a lively piece with memories of bush dances in Australia, when the violinist was prominent in the ensembles which abounded in country towns and were the life and soul of entertainment in the bush.
