Product details

Based on the choral work Peace - A Cantata for John Monash, I extracted/reordered sixteen out of the original twenty-nine musical numbers, rescored the symphonic accompaniment for concert band and condensed the four soloists into two. The work is a series of anthems and songs extolling peace, interspersed with acknowledgement of the contribution of Sir John Monash and his Australian service men and women in bringing World War One to a speedier conclusion by dint of three significant victories in the Somme Valley in 1918.
