Cantor Dust demonstrates the influence of many of the ideas regarding fractal geometry and chaos theory that I discovered in Ligeti's four last piano Études (numbers 15 to 18). The Cantor set and function govern the form; the Koch curve is seen in the texture; and geometric proportions, self-similarity and iterative processes all play a part in the unfolding of this work
