Product details
Roy Howat: piano
This is the fourth and final CD in the Complete Piano Music of Claude Debussy recorded by Roy Howat. The major works here are the Arabesques, Suite Bergamasque and the Children's Corner suite. Of great interest to those interested in French music is the world premiere recording of a recently-discovered work Intermede, unearthed in the US in 2001. Roy completes this project with his customary understated style honouring the composer's intentions, and for this CD he has recorded with one of the innovative Australian Stuart & Sons pianos.
