Product details
The work has no program as such, but, as a portrayal of states of mind, the first movement could be construed to be "of the city", the second "of the country" - both with instrusions of monsters of the mind. The third movement is intended as a form of hedonistic "celebration" - a banishment of care through pleasurable pursuits especially dance.
