Australia's Country Music heritage from the classic era of Tex Morton, through the travelling shows of the 1960s, the rise of Tamworth in the 1970s, to the country music stars of the early 1990s. Compiled and with booklet by Eric Watson, a country music record producer, scholar, and advocate. In 1975, he helped to develop the country music division of Larrikin Records, Sydney, and in 1978 founded his own label, Selection. His two-volume Country Music in Australia (1976, 1983) is a standard work in the field.
