This work is inspired by the scenic design of the video game, Blasphemous, and musically recreates the mixture of sacred and environmental themes. A deambulatory is a passage for walking and, in the context of a the video game, provides players with a serene but also disturbing and ominous pathway. The piece moves through four inter-related sections that develop the initial gentle material. The piece is designed for one player and explores the contrapuntal, contrary and similar motion potential of the two simultaneous keyboards.
