Summary: 'Diary of a mad architect": Two Parisian architects create a fantasy around the lost city at the heart of the Australian outback. The fantasy has been constructed by French artists, Anne and Patrick Poirier. Readings by Lesley Lanker and Scott Brooks. Music by François Bernard Mache.
Summary: 'Shinkansen windows at speed': Number 12 of '24 views of an inkstain on the tatami', a guided audio tour of Japan in which the familiar and the strange are twisted by an irritable postcard writer, a passionless guidebook and a 'voice in the head'. Every Japanese town has a cement factory. Seen from the windows of a speeding bullet train they seem quite harmless. Written and performed by Tony Barrell.
