Sheet Music: ScoreDredge Dragon : for percussion quartet / Eve Duncan.by Eve Christina Duncan (2009)
|
Product details
Dredge Dragon depicts the negative emotions that the community has experienced about dredging in Port Phillip Bay. It does this allegorically by entering the mythical realm of the Dredge Dragon, which incorporates the fear, coldness and ruthlessness by which industry and technology advances, often with insensitivity to the natural sea environment. These emotions have surrounded the issue. In the traditional of dragons, the mythical Dredge Dragon is heartless, covered with slimy scales and has fearsome talons and fiery breath.
Part of the Dredge collection of three works for percussion quartet.
