Product details
Echoes of Conflict is a musical reflection on the dramatic events surrounding many young Australians during the tumultuous years of the Vietnam War. The piece has been composed in the form of a symphonic poem and musically depicts a situation where young soldiers with mixed emotions of excitement, apprehension, and anxiety, faced an uncertain future; and how the forthcoming events created a dramatic change in their lives and personalities.
This piece has since established historic significance with the veteran community and the Australian RSL, as it is understood to be the only orchestral music relating to the Vietnam War composed by an Australian Vietnam Veteran.
