This work is a transcription of the same movement from my Sonatina 7 for 'cello and harmonium. The two works were, in fact, composed simultaneously - this piece represents my final thoughts on the elegos material.
I composed elegos II to play at the funeral of my Grandmother, Win Kershaw on December 12, 2013 - who, after a short stay in hospital died peacefully in her sleep on December 1, 2013.
