A moving meditation on displacement, life lived somewhere other than where one was born. Threaded through this sound mosaic of experiences ranging from the lament of convicts sent to this country, through to the occupation of a church in Paris by African workers resisting their deprtations, are the poetic observations of Ovid, banished from Rome to the outlands of empire. Radio feature originally produced for French Radio.
