Sheet Music: ScoreFloating and Gliding / Lorraine Milne.by Lorraine Milne (2016)
|
Product details
Floating and Gliding uses shifting metres from 6/8 to
3/4. The two-bar pattern also alternates between G major and F
major, thus suggesting the Mixolydian mode.
In the Full version the 16 bar theme is played twice with a 9-bar
bridge connecting them.
The Abridged version uses only the main theme played once. It can
also be used by more advanced pianists for sight-reading
practice.
