"Grains of voices" was the Swedish Radio's entry in the Music category of the 1996 Prix Italia. It uses recorded voices to fuse ethnic and cultural ideals into a new form.
"World beat and song", by Australian Cathy Peters, uses sampled sounds from mainly South East Asian cultures.
"Lingua Franca" is by an audio, installation and performance artist from Chicago.
