Sheet Music: ScoreHappenstance and the Muse / Daniel Rojas.by Daniel Rojas (2017)
|
Product details
Happenstance and the Muse suggests the serendipitous conflation of everyday events due to complex quotidian mechanics that are perceived by us to be related. By extension, this piece is also about the non-conscious processes that inspire new ideas. Programmatically, it is similar to another recent work …of magic and realism for recorder and marimba, which explores the liminal space of what is real and that which we imagine during associated day- and night-dreams. These pieces are thematically related because both deal with the kind of events that occur in both real and imagined environments.
