Hectic Paprika is one in a family of works composed during the Covid-19 pandemic under the collective title 'Hectic Resonance'. The short compositions are characterised by rapid interlocking rhythms between physically distant musicians whose notes never touch. This version of the work features two voices, however, the concept may be realised by any two similar sounding instruments, with each new version earning a new botanical title chosen by the performers.
