i hear you, like Rain is a minimalist transcription and interpretation of summer rain on a tent as experienced with my children during a coastal camping trip to Walkerville, South Gippsland, Victoria. Rain is an anonymous character that speaks to you through memories of childhood experience. Rewards for deep listening are displaced speech patterns imbedded in the layered melodic and harmonic structures of the work.
