Product details
'In the sea paths' is a phrase from the Anglo-Saxon poem, the Seafarer. The poem's imagery of sea paths as paths of life resonates with symbolism of the sea as the soul or the subconscious in literature and mythology. In this piece melodic paths begin in a fragmentary way and emerge more completely as the piece progresses, with the coming and going of motivic eddies.
