The piece invokes the calling of the soul home, back to nature. Jarinda is a name I have given to the return spirit, that connected to a distant world and which resonates eternally. That world is the soul of a continent we today call Australi but which Indigenous peoples named Gondwanaland. In this timeless space, every stone, plant, tree and animal carries an inherited energy. Throughout the three verses one senses a continuous journey, ''calling you by name'', juxtaposed in the middle section by an omnipresent energetic spirit which dances around us.
