Product details
The Kagome album was first recorded and released in 1996.
This music was created for a season of music/dance theatre shows by the Nadoya Music & Dance Company. Following an accident during rehearsals when our lead dancer Yumi's foot was broken, the 1996 season of shows was postponed to the following year. Anne took the team into a recording studio instead and Yumi was given the opportunity to tell her story about her broken foot on track 5 "Fractured" and on the final track along with a recording we made of students in the play ground of the Japanese School of Melbourne singing the song "Kagome."
Nadoya was formed by Anne Norman in 1993 to perform in the Melbourne International Festival. The group expanded and continued to perform in Melbourne and Sydney until 1998.
Duration: 64 min.
Monkey Dreaming -- Spirals -- A small sign of Autumn -- Tsuru -- Fractured -- Gaja Gaja -- Before the Wind -- Beyond -- Sacred Cow -- Three Beings -- Passage of Time -- Who is in Front of Behind? -- Evening – Kagome.
