Product details
Kolo Kolo for Mandolin Orchestra is based around two pripyevs or melodic links which are commonly used by Balkan musicians to merge one song into another song or section. Stephen Lalor has used this as raw material in a lively piece for mandolin orchestra which also reflects the ornamental & improvisational style of playing the tambura, which is the Balkan equivalent of the mandolin.
