L'espace et la flûte - variations sur des textes de Jean Tardieu for flute ensemble and narrator, was commissioned by Musique Nouvelle en Liberté for the Grand Prix Lycéen des Compositeurs. The work was written for Pierre-Yves Artaud, l'Orchestre de Flûtes Français and Alain Carré, who premiered it on March 19, 2010, in RadioFrance, Paris (conductor: Paul Méfano).
