by Felicity Wilcox (2014)
This is a recomposition from the Suitte d'un Gout Etranger, composed by Marin Marais in 1717. It builds on his earlier work significantly, by borrowing phrases from it and transforming them with 21st c. techniques. This fragment stands alone as an individual piece or as a movement within the long-form work Gouttes d'un Sang Etranger.
