Lighthouse Keepers explores the way that friendships are important to the creation of community in improvised music, and the way these relationships promote creativity and artistic excellence, particularly among female musicians. The music is based on an unfolding dialogue whereby individual voices are treasured for their uniqueness; momentum and strength build through collective support and energy.
