Product details
Lost Country, for clapsticks & String Quartet, by Adam Manning, tells the story of mother earth, from her perspective. And her desire for all of us to connect back with her. This story is told through three sections, section one (0:00 - 1:11), the past few hundred years, section two (1:12 - 2:09), the now - and the need for further important dialogue, section three (2:10 - 3:31): the possibility of living with a collective/connected existence. Musically, this experience is designed to pull the listener into a reflective state of mind. A deep listening experience that's culturally significant through the use of the world's first handheld instrument that still in use today, the clapsticks.
