Product details

玫瑰第二章节: 开花 Méiguī dì èr zhāngjié: Kāihuā The Flowering for Chinese Traditional Orchestra鲜花节 is the original Chinese Traditional Orchestra Composition which my symphony orchestra piece, Xiānhuā jié, is a modified transcription of. The orchestration of this composition was inspired by the myriad colours of flower festivals in Kaifeng and Luoyang, China and was also intended to reflect the joyous mood of those festivals. While most of its melodic material was sourced from my concerto for viola and string orchestra, Redemption, 玫瑰第二章节: 开花 Méiguī dì èr zhāngjié: Kāihuā for Chinese Traditional Orchestra was also inspired by the music of the Xinjiang Province of China.
