In performance, this composition can be adapted to suite a variety of small jazz ensembles (see instrumentation). The form is a standard AABA however the A sections are 10 bars in length. Soloists have the option of improvising over the form or building their improvisations on an extended A section and cue the bridge when ready to end the solo. The piece was inspired by the playing and writing of trumpeter Mirosalv Bukovsky.
