Imagine lifting your gaze to the night sky and pondering a huge silver full moon.
The air is cool and calm as you stand there at the edge of a deep, dark lake. As you lower your gaze you notice that the water surface is as shiny as glass, and you soften your mind to gaze at it.
After reflecting on the water for a while, you feel slight confusion as you notice you're looking at the bright silver moon, yet your eyes are cast downward - not inclined up towards the sky. In a daze you're looking into the lake and yet seeing the moon. You sense the mystery of illusion - light, air and water playing around with your perceptions.
Moon and lake have become one in this moment.
