Written in sonata form, Nesia (Journey) offers a spiritual portrait of the Wandering Jew. It is dedicated to the memory of Jascha Heifetz, the foremost violinist of the twentieth century. Written in 1997, Nesia received its premiere by Zina Schiff in a live Internet broadcast from Seattle 7 May 2001.
