Among them were war veterans, intellectuals, musicians and artists. The program illuminates this 'surrealistic world on the edge of life'. It is also about the author's search for her family history. With the voices of survivors, archival material and music by the author/composer. It includes a Kaddish, sung as a prayer for the dead, and music composed by the inmates.
