This work was commissioned for a site-specific performance centred around the Wharf in Sydney.
When I visited the Wharf, something that really struck me was the visceral sensation of trains passing over the harbour bridge - the movement of the objects themselves, but also a sense of the intersecting patterns and lives of the city. So Of Motion emulates this experience of a train passing - from the distance, rushing closer, and finally passing into the distance again.
