Originally composed for mixed voice a capella choir, commissioned by St Peters Chorale, Brisbane. This arrangement made in 1998 for the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, and premiered on 18 August 1998 by the Queensland Symphony Orchestra and the Conservatorium Youth Choir, conducted by Gwyn Roberts, in the Concert Hall of the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, Brisbane -- Composer's note.
